Connexoon FAQ


The App is a free download. However you need to install a Connexoon box in order for the App to be able to operate Somfy motorised blinds and curtains.
 


The Connexoon App is available for Apple® iOS and AndroidTM mobile devices.
 


You can control as many Somfy connected curtains and blinds in your home as you want with a maximum of 30 channels. Each channel can be linked to multiple applications.
 


Yes as long as you have Internet connection, you can control your curtains and blinds from your smartphone wherever you are, provided that your Connexoon box is connected to your home’s Internet network.
 


Yes. Your connected blinds and curtains can be voice-controlled using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant with a unique skill. This feature can be used by creating an Applet in the IFTTT channel.
 


We do server maintenance and updates a few times a year. There will be a pause of operation of about 30 minutes, which will be indicated by the red LED on your Connexoon box. It will resume operational automatically afterwards and all stored scenario and schedules will not be affected. You will be notified via the App 2 working days prior the date of maintenance.
 


We respect your privacy, any information you provide to Somfy is not used without your consent. You can review our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
 


The two are very different.
